After releasing their new single “Perhaps” earlier this week, Guns N’ Roses performed the song live for the first time on Friday night (August 18th) at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Axl Rose and company broke out “Perhaps” as the 12th tune of their 27-song setlist. Fan-filmed video footage shows Slash playing the song’s bouncy guitar riff as Axl sings its wide-ranging vocals.

“Perhaps” leaked via bar jukeboxes last weekend, then was given its radio debut on Thursday via Audacy stations before officially premiering as a music video and on streaming services on Friday.

A 7-inch vinyl version of “Perhaps” will arrive on October 23rd, with another new track, “The General,” serving as the B-side. Pre-orders are available here.

According to Audacy, the song was “written and recorded by Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan this year,” and marks their “first collective new composition and recording together in 30 years since 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident?” However, a rough demo version of the song has been floating around for years, and reportedly dates back to the band’s Chinese Democracy-era sessions.

Guns N’ Roses’ 2023 North American tour runs until mid October. Tickets for GN’R’s upcoming shows are available here.
