My topic today is about freedom. I saw a vlog video from Nas Daily (if you heard about him). He claimed it was “the worse commercial ever”. The film was created from Iran. Watch the link below and see it for yourself:
Watching this film made me realized.. Nas has a point. It seems like it is not about just freedom but also issues about inequality and social respect.
Freedom is a choice. Freedom does not justify wether you are wearing less clothing or what not. It does not justify if you are a good person or not. Freedom is something you have learned from fear, limitations, and your vision of purpose. Freedom is nothing else but a chance to get better.
When I saw about wearing less clothes on a video, how the woman strip her clothes off.. for me, it’s like an insult as a woman. First and foremost, it is very arrogant and disrespectful. It does not justify if you are a Muslim, Catholic, Christian, or what not. Hence, it is simply to respect and value as a human being. Respect the culture itself!
True freedom is always spiritual. It has something to do with your innermost being, which cannot be chained, handcuffed, or put into a jail. It does not define you how you dress, how to fix your fashion or fix your reputation. It simply define you as a better individual.. to love for one another, help one another, care for others and be a good (role model) in our society.
When I say, a better model? It does not mean a beauty or fashion; it does not mean how beautiful you are.
Beautiful perhaps in a better way. For example, having a good heart. A good core values and morality. Your virtues and fidelity.
If you want freedom? Stand up, speak up, and fight for what you believe is right!
