European girl-skewing IP Winx Club is furthering its position in the mobile space with the release of Winx Fairy School, which follows the May release of the Winx Sirenix Power app that has been downloaded more than a million times.

Developed by Scotland-based Tsumanga Studios and based on the popular animated TV series from Italy’s Rainbow Studios, Winx Fairy School will launch next month for Apple and Android devices.

It will be the first Winx game to offer multiplayer gaming, allowing players to play together and share the experience of the fairy school with each other.  Activities include decorating dorm rooms, choosing from hundreds fabulous fashion combinations straight from the TV show, exploring Alfea castle, studying new spells and completing hundreds of quests.

The show, now in its sixth season, has had several licensing extensions with toys, clothing, books and videogames.
