Beer Jug

We rolled into town and it started raining and we both had to use the restroom stat!

This was the first place we came to and it was a cool little dive bar type place.

After the restroom we bellied up to the bar for a beer. The girl working the bar was nice and helpful. She was the only one working in this small establishment but she was in charge of bartending and cooking (the kitchen was right behind the bar).

These type of bars remind me of the neighborhood places I grew up in .. in Buffalo, NY. It was usually a bar with a deep fryer and a flat grill and the bartender did it all (oh nostalgia).

Good selection of food, great service and a beer and bathroom when we most needed it.

We would definitely return for some food, a beer and a game on the pool table.

We stopped in yesterday for a quick lunch during a track meet in Glendive.
We waited for 15 minutes to wait on us. Then went to the bar to try to order.
NO ONE would give us a second glance.
Two other parties came in and were served immediately.
We won't be back.
We know the server saw us and ignored us.

It gets an extra star because of the horseradish:)

We enjoyed the brat sandwich and friendly staff.

No true, native Glendivian would ever miss a stop by the Jug for a Swiss Brat or some nachos. Time away only makes the heart grow stronger! Lol! New decor - meh... Food, top notch! Honestly, do they even serve anything other than the best Brat around??

Walked in for a beer and dinner, but the place had a very bad odor like spoiled milk. We did not order any food, I was surprised I could finish my beer. The bar had a really cool dive feel to it and the bartender was really cool.

This little bar is pure Montana. Somehow they are able to make bar food delicacies simply with a toaster oven. Try the Swiss Brat with aBeaver Creek beer.

They have great food. I highly recommend the Beer Jug Special or the Nachos, guessing the bad reviews are from people who either have dead taste buds or are from competing food establishments.

Wow! This place is known for their nachos, however, they sell the same nachos you can get, for 1/2 the price, at any gas station across the country!! And the kicker was when my daughter had a hair in her nachos! Glendive does not have a lot to offer but this is definitely not a place you come to eat. It's where you come to drink and order something to nosh on at the bar. When popcorn and soft pretzels are listed on the menu, be prepared to lower your expectations! First and last time ever visiting this place!
