Someone almost lost a son today. I was driving on Liberia near Point of Woods, when a boy almost ran across the street in front of me. He just came out of nowhere, and even though I was within the speed limit, there's no way I would have stopped in time to avoid him. He's lucky he turned back. So if you have a son around 10-12 years old, Caucasian, with glasses wearing a grey shirt with green or yellow sleeves, please teach him to be careful crossing the street. His cheeks were red too. My description is so detailed because I was able to see the whites of his eyes. He was very lucky today.

Weird occurrence last night. Someone prowling around our house just after 330 AM. Walks to the side of our home and walks back out, possibly trying to break into our backyard and into our back door. Luckily didn’t get into the back yard. Anyone else have this happen yesterday or recently?

From the PWC Police Department **FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** Animal Cruelty | Animal Abandonment – On March 3 at 11:28AM, officers responded to investigate a dog that was found at C. Lacey Compton Neighborhood Park located at 17301 River Ridge Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) at 10:30am on March 2. The investigation revealed an extremely emaciated dog was left at the park by an unknown man who then drove away in a newer model white Range Rover. A Good Samaritan took the dog to the PWC Animal Services Center where the dog, identified as a male mixed-breed Hound dog between 6-12 months old, received medical care and is resting comfortably at this time. PWC Animal Services is seeking assistance from the public on identifying the dog and information about the events leading up to the dog being left on the morning of March 2. Anyone with information please contact Prince William County Police on their tipline 703-792-7000. Suspect Description: A black male with a heavy build Last seen wearing a black leather jacket with an unknown motorcycle club emblem.
