Christina Aguilera announces ‘intimate’ Las Vegas residency: details

Las Vegas is about to get a little dirrrtier.

Christina Aguilera announced a new, intimate Las Vegas residency at the new Voltaire Belle de Nuit inside the Venetian Resort.

“Immerse yourself in the fusion of art and music 💎 I’m bringing an intimate, seductive and sophisticated new show to Las Vegas,” the “Candyman” singer shared via Instagram on Tuesday. “@voltairelv will allow me to be up-close-and-personal with YOU for a truly modern twist on the performance experience, TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY!”

The five-time Grammy winner revealed the residency will kick off Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, and more dates will be announced Friday.

The smaller venue, which apparently “blurs the lines between an intimate club, concert, and non-stop entertainment venue” seats only 1,000 fans per show.

The Voltaire Belle de Nuit does not open to the public until Nov. 3 when fellow singer Kylie Minogue begins her “More Than Just a Residency.”

“I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication and art in ways I have never performed before,” Aguilera, 42, added in a statement to Billboard on Tuesday.

“What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience… a truly modern twist on the performance experience.”

Aguilera is no stranger to Vegas. Her previous “Christina Aguilera: The Xperience” residency run took place at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater for 24 concerts and grossed $10.2M from 2019 to 2020.
