Chorisia Speciosa Plant, Silk Floss Tree Plant

Chorisia speciosa commonly known as silk floss tree is a conical deciduous tree native to tropical and sub-tropical forested areas in Argentina and Brazil.

It can reach a height of almost 50 to 60 feet and belongs to the same family as that of adansonia digitata and kapok tree.

Its seeds also give vegetable oil which is edible and also used industrally.
