Red Hot Chili Peppers “can’t stop” their touring momentum.

On Monday, the rock band featuring frontman Anthony Kiedis, drummer Chad Smith, bassist Flea and guitarist John Frusciante announced that they’re extending their Unlimited Love Tour into 2024. The band first kicked off the tour in support of their 12th studio album in June 2022, and after continuing the shows into 2023, they’ll continue the stadium run for a third year.

After playing two previously announced shows in Lincoln, California and Highland, California and a festival date at Tempe, Arizona’s Innings Festival in February, the latest North American leg of the Unlimited Love Tour will begin in late May. The “Californiacation” group will kick things off on May 28 in Ridgefield, Washington and then travel throughout the west and east coast. The string of 16 new live dates includes stops in both mid-sized and major cities, such as Salt Lake City, Utah, Tampa, Florida, Cincinnati, Ohio, Toronto and others.

The Grammy winners brought exciting guests with them out on the road on their first run of the Unlimited Love Tour — including A$AP Rocky, King Princess, St. Vincent, The Strokes and more— and their 2024 shows are no different. This time around, they’re also being supported by an eclectic mix of both hip-hop and rock acts. At select performances, they’ll be joined by rappers Ice Cube, Ken Carson and Kid Cudi, Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti & Egypt80, Japanese punk group Otoboke Beaver, rock group Wand and indie band IRONTOM, who previously supported them at a handful of 2023 shows.

When the “Scar Tissue” band first launched the Unlimited Love Tour, it marked their first tour in five years and a reunion with Frusciante, 53, who exited the band for a period from 2009 to 2019. (Josh Klinghoffer filled in for him during his departure.)

Upon the announcement of their most recent, hit album in 2022, RHCP shared a statement in a press release about what it was like working together with the core lineup for the first time since 2006’s Stadium Arcadium. "Our only goal is to get lost in the music. We spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could," the foursome shared. "We were just so damn grateful for the opportunity to be in a room together, and once again, try to get better."

Tickets for the 2024 Unlimited Love Tour start off with a presale for Citi cardholders on Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. local time, which lasts until Dec. 7 at 10 p.m. local time.
