TEXAS — The iconic and legendary rock band the Rolling Stones are taking their act back on the road following the release of their “Hackney Diamonds” album.

Their 2024 North American tour will kick off in Houston, Texas, at the NRG Stadium on April 28.

The Rolling Stones  —  with members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood  —  will perform in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada, promising to play a combination of their most popular hits, deep cuts and music from their new album.

The presale for tickets starts on Wednesday, Nov. 29 and the general sale begins on Friday, Dec. 1.

The Stones debuted in London in 1962, brandishing their signature style of rock, heavily influenced by the Chicago blues scene, and has since remained active in the 60 years since their debut.

The “Hackney Diamonds” tour will be the first time the band will play North America since the death of their original drummer, Charlie Watts, in 2021.

Their 2024 tour will be sponsored by AARP, fittingly enough, as the core members of the Rolling Stones approach (or have already arrived) at their 80th birthday.

Their Houston date will be followed by a stop at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 2.
