John Cena
John Cena (born April 23, 1977) is an American wrestler and actor. Beginning his career as a bodybuilder, Cena entered wrestling in 1999 with a debut for Ultimate Pro Wrestling. He signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2001, beginning a long and celebrated career that has made him one of the most prominent headliners in the organization’s history. His persona evolved from a rapper to a more heroic, virtuous figure overtime. Cena has won the WWE Champion 13 times, along with three World Heavyweight Champion titles. Cena entered screen acting with the WWE Studios production “The Marine” in 2006. He reached a new breakthrough with a supporting turn in the 2015 comedy “Trainwreck,” which preceded performances across action and comedy features like “The Wall,” “Daddy’s Home 2” and “Blockers.” He joined the “Fast and Furious” series in 2021’s “F9: The Fast Saga,” playing the role of the brother to Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto. He also starred in James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” in the same year, playing the gung-ho anit-hero Peacemaker — a stand-out comedic turn that led to his own Max television series. Cena married Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020.
