Two people were injured Monday after reports of a shooting in Bristow, Va., according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The incident happened in the 9000 block of Acadia Park Drive at around 3 p.m.

One man was transported to an area hospital with gunshot wounds prior to officers arriving at the scene. A woman was also transported via medical helicopter, Prince William County police said. It's unclear if she was also shot.

Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is in custody, police said. Investigators believe all parties were familiar with one another.

SkyTrak7 flew over the scene as police were investigating.
