Endo Logo

Brief from client

Not for anything specific - "The Endo is a motorcycle and bicycle trick in which the back wheel is lifted and the bike is ridden on the front wheel by carefully applying brake pressure. It is also sometimes called a Stoppie."

Perhaps for a shirt design, or adhesive car decal?

Any and all thoughts are welcomed! :-]

If you are going for a car decal or t-shirt, I think you are on the right track with your color choice having such a high contrast for maximum visibility.

The way you have your type oriented with the bike on it's front wheel, it's hard to tell at first sight if the wheels are meant to be letter Os, so it looks like "OENDOO." From experience, I have a hard time taking a typeface and transforming it into specific shapes to make silhouettes. In this instance, it might be better to hand-sketch the letters and get away from using a typeface that might be a little more restricted than the look you are going for. Also, if the capital N is meant to be where the seat of the bike should be, I'm not sure if I want that point there. :)
Hope that helps. Good luck!

Good point!!
What about separating the colors from the wheels and the lettering?

Better. I definitely saw the letters first.
I would just say to try and develop the type a bit more. Your letters look a bit think compared to the other parts of the bike.

Aaand Baji is back!

Okay lets see here.. I am a motorcycle and car fanatic and ride a Yamaha R1 my self so seeing anything related to those area's is always fun to see.

So ready for the critique?
The styling of the motorcycle is nicely done. But there are at least 6 places where it could needs some touching up. I've included a image for reference while i sum these places up:

1. You could try rounding this point up so it goes with the upper chassis or attaching it completely to it without the spacing.

2. This place seems weird but not necessarily wrong. Maybe its just me :)

3. I would round up this place with the letter so it looks more natural.

4. Just extend the seat to the end of the E already!

5. You got the rear with pointy edges and they got a little curve going on i would straighten at least the curve out.

6. And lastly your Typography, notice how some of your letter have different thicknesses.. Fix! The upper point of the letter N also seems out of place.

As far as color goes. The venom green reminds me of a Kawasaki but the bike doesn't. Also a dirt bike comes to mind with this color scheme. I would like to see this with a lighter shade of black and cobalt or navy blue.

Thats about it from me for now. Good luck and definitely keep it up!
