A rare Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren that’s been modified by Mansory is up for sale in the Netherlands.

While Mansory has cooked up some truly questionable cars in the past, this SLR McLaren is one of its most restrained creations and dare we say it, actually looks quite nice. This is helped in no small part by the fact the car is painted in Crystal Galaxite Black Metallic that helps to disguise some of the styling changes made.

The car, listed for sale from Baan Twente, has a new front fascia designed by Mansory with a slightly extended ‘nose’ and a hood with an exposed area of carbon fiber. Elsewhere, intriguing C-pillar attachments have been fitted and there is a new rear bumper with an aggressive diffuser. While there are other SLR McLarens with the same ‘Renovatio’ bodykit from Mansory, this example is thought to be one of just a few painted black.

Complementing the exterior modifications made are a series of unique trimmings throughout the cabin. For example, there is a flat-bottomed steering wheel and heaps of Alcantara. There is also a healthy dose of carbon fiber parts, including the center console.

Powering the car is a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine but whereas the standard SLR churned out 617 hp, Mansory upped that to 700 hp, making this thing quite the weapon.

The car has a total of 34,349 km (21,343 miles) on the clock and an asking price of €290,000 ($328,680).
