Pauley Perrette prides herself on her openness with followers, often commenting on everything from political beliefs to songs she likes. So, it should come as no surprise that after the former NCIS star had a scary fall, she shared the aftermath with fans.
“So I slipped and fell down the stairs,” she wrote in a post on Twitter (warning: skip over this photo if you’re queasy!). “Busted both my knees. Kinda gross, but you know I always share injury posts!”
Ouch! The tumble definitely looks like it hurt, as the picture shows cuts and bruising on both of Pauley’s legs. It seems like the accident-prone actress is pretty used to recovering from these types of injuries, though.
In September, she revealed she “fell down concrete stairs” while playing with her rescue dogs. But she had a positive response, adding it was “worth it.” Two months later, she took to social media to ask about remedies for bug bites that had covered her body. And in December, she admitted that she had to Gorilla Glue her thumb and finger together after she cut them fixing her sink.
Thankfully, none of these incidents appear to have caused her too much harm. She posted a photo shortly after circulating the image of her knees, and her flawless complexion remains unscathed. (Though she did have to do some damage control when false ads circulated in 2018 claiming she had a skin care line.)
