CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Members of PETA endured the summer heat wearing fur coats as they sat in small cages to raise awareness outside of Saks Fifth Avenue on Tuesday.
The group was trying to raise awareness about fur-bearing animals suffering in small cages in extremely hot temperatures.
"Animals on fur farms are literally dying to get out of their cages," said PETA's Virgina Fort.
PETA says animals raised on fur farms are confined to dirty cages all year and suffer from many ailments including dehydration and exhaustion.
