Kokoschka Retrospective at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris

Although the title of this impressive retrospective is confusing—Oskar Kokoschka's work cannot be reduced to the Fauvist artists of the first or second generation—, what the museum is celebrating is the rebel, the intellectual impervious to dogma, the humanist, the anti-fascist and the committed free-thinker.
