Jennifer Lopez looked back on a year of marriage with Ben Affleck and she’s seriously contradicting all the recent reports on their romance. Speaking with Vogue, the 54-year-old singer and actress painted a picture of a perfect marriage all while tabloids continue to report the opposite.
Lopez told Vogue that her relationship with Affleck, 51, has enhanced her self-love because her Air actor husband “wants me to understand my worth and know my value.”
“I’m finally at the point in my life where I love every part of myself unapologetically,” she says. “Every part of me, my body, my voice, my choices, even like my mistakes. All of it made me who I am and got me to where I am today.”

Her profession of self-love and her adoration for her husband comes amid weeks of speculation about the state of their marriage. After Affleck was spotted hanging out with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, it was widely reported that Lopez had a lot to say about his friendship with the mother of his four kids. And we have to admit that even we were fooled.
After paparazzi caught Affleck embracing his ex-wife during a hangout with their kids, sources alleged that their closeness was a concern for his current wife.
“Ben’s reliance on Jen as a confidante may have crossed the line,” one source claimed. “Ben has insisted to J. Lo that she’s the only woman for him and that he just cares for Jen because of the children and what they’ve been through.”
“But that didn’t do much to relieve J. Lo’s concerns. She’s insisting that Ben make her his No. 1 priority again — not Jen.” Garner and Affleck, who split in 2015, are parents to daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and a son, Samuel, 11. Lopez shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

The blended families have been photographed together on many occasions which may prove that the rumors are all smoke and no fire. Lopez’s Vogue interview certainly seems to suggest that all is well between the exes!
