Chamomile, German (Matricaria recutita) Organic Essential Oil

This organic Chamomile oil is distilled in Germany from young, carefully dried flowers, a technique which brings out the best aroma and a beautiful deep blue color.   German Chamomile is known to be one of the strongest and most universal of the healing oils.  It is used to treat inflammation, rashes, burns, insect bites, pain, excessive heat, insomnia, and nervous conditions.  It is also very nourishing for the skin.  This oil is commonly used in situations of intense stress and/or grief as it is uplifting and comforting to the emotions.  It is excellent for use in a diffuser or added to bath water.  An extremely gentle oil, Chamomile has often been used in the treatment of children.
