Gilbert and George insisted yesterday they were not anti-establishment, as they unveiled their latest exhibition crammed with images of the union flag and old medals. The collection of 153 works, titled Jack Freak Pictures, is the single largest group of pictures the duo, who first met in 1967, have ever made. George said: "We are not anti-establishment. We are very, very proud of the union. We think it's a good idea." Gilbert added: "Everybody's under a flag in some way." The show is open from tomorrow until 22 August at White Cube's London galleries in Mason's Yard and Hoxton Square.
