ABBA's disco pop songs and colorful cheesy outfits made of the tightest materials and metal boots worn by all four members have made the Swedish band a music icon since the 1970s.
New songs 30 years later
After a plethora of hits that everyone still knows every word to like Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and Waterloo, Benny Andersson has just announced in an interview with ABBAtalk that he hopes to release new songs by the end of the summer. "They're coming," he says, "They're coming this year. I'm guessing after the summer." So, for now, nothing is certain, but we can hope to get out disco moves on some time this year with some of the new releases from one of the most iconic bands of the 1970s.
