Jennifer Coolidge is getting very candid about the benefits of playing her onscreen 'MILF' persona in the raunch hit film, American Pie.

In a new interview with Variety, Coolidge claimed she got loads of sexual attention after playing the character of Jeanine Stifler, mom of Steven Stifler in the 1999 comedy.

"I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie," she told the outlet. "There were so many benefits to doing that movie."

In the film, Coolidge's character famously messes around with her son's classmate, Paul Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas).

"I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never had slept with," the Legally Blonde actress added.

Also in her conversation with Variety, Coolidge explained that the breakout role in American Pie ended a long dry spell of trying and failing to get into the film industry.

"Ten years of my life auditioning," she stated, "none of it added up to a job."

"The fear is gone when you're so used to losing," she commented, adding, "There's some freedom in that."

Coolidge, now 60, has come a long way since her early acting days, as she recently received her first ever Emmy nomination for her supporting role in the anthology series, The White Lotus.

Also among the nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie are four of Coolidge's costars on the HBO series: Sydney Sweeney, Connie Britton, Natasha Rothwell and Alexandra Daddario.
