Dubbed "The Body" in the 1990s, Elle Macpherson maintains her dream physique through a rigorous exercise routine. She trains five times per week, normally outdoors, doing a range of activities including paddle boarding, snorkeling, running, rock climbing, swimming, yoga and boxing. Her advice is to stick to a routine and decide on your day’s session depending on how you feel when you wake up.

“I’m vegan at the moment and follow an alkaline diet of organic, seasonal whole foods,” Elle Macpherson declared in a recent interview with Goop. “Because different greens provide different benefits, I eat a wide variety.”* The golden rule? Be attentive to your own body and opt for alkaline foods that are rich in nutrients to stay on top form all day. "Pure alkaline would be too tricky,"* Laubscher explains, "It's about trying to have whole foods that come from nature. We can't all live on smoothies, we can't all do yoga 24/7 and hold down a job." The star wakes up at 5am each day. After 45 minutes of exercise she meditates, to calm herself and get in the right mindset of the day. To jump-start her metabolism and slowly wake up her body, she drinks a large glass of warm water infused with lemon and apple cider vinegar.
